I have noticed recently that a large amount of movies now a days have bad endings. The kind of ending that makes you say, "Is that the end? It can't be." I brought this up with a good friend of mine and he said, "Those movies don't have endings. They have stopping's." I have to agree with him on that. I mean the endings to these movies make the whole movie seem pointless.

I put together a little story of my own to help demonstrate my point.

A movie that is about a loser guy and a hot girl are meant to end up together. Only the guy knows it, and he can't convince the girl to go out with him. He tries different methods to show her that he's not all loser and can be romantic. A little past half way through the movie he does his most desperate attempt at getting the girl.

He sends a letter to her favorite band and told his story. He said if he could convince them to show up at her 26 birthday party and sing her favorite song she would finally realize how much he liked her. If the couldn't do this than he was just going to move on in his life without her.

One of the band members had a friend with a similar experience. They sent him a reply saying they would sing her one song at her birthday.

They arrived as planned on her special day and sang for her. She felt so ecstatic and grateful she excepted to go out with him.

They went out for several weeks when she stopped answering his calls. He went over to her house very upset. Her tried simply asking what was wrong. Was it him? Was it another guy? They started yelling at each other when finally she blurts it out. "I'm pregnant!" They stare angrily at each other very confused.

The credits start to roll and the crowd is mega pissed. So are you if you were at all interested by my story.

The point is movies are supposed to make you feel good about your self, scared, happy, or better yet make you want to keep watching movies. If every movie ended this way movies would go down hill and not nearly as many people would pay to see them.
